The software of the base station and the transducers can be upgraded by a software download from a PC. The
base station has a service socket for connection to a PC's standard RS232 serial port. You will need:
• Industry standard PC

• Service Support Tool (on Fetal Monitoring Documentation DVD-ROM )
• PC interface cable for the Service Support Tool (M1360-61675)
• Downloadable software upgrade file (instructions for the download procedure come with the software
package. Contact Philips Support for further details).

For tests to perform after upgrading, see "When to Perform Safety Tests" on page 46.
