4.5 Certificate
Generating
The certificate can be subsequently generated as part of the acceptance test after any arbitrary
test has been completed.
1. In the acceptance test, select the setting range "Finish".
2. Press the "Generate certificate" softkey.

The certificate of the completed acceptance test is then created from the following data:
● Text and graphics of the certificate template (Page 72)
● Test-specific texts
● Graphics and data from the session file
● Static parameterization data of the controller
Languages
The language of the texts in the certificate depend on the following settings:
● Text from the certificate template
The language of the certificate template texts and/or the corresponding language-
dependent file, which is used to generate the certificate, depends on the language set in
SINUMERIK Operate at the time that the certificate is generated.
● Variable control texts
Variable texts generated by the control system during the test, for example, alarm and
message texts, are entered in the certificate in the language that was set in SINUMERIK
Operate at the time of the actual test.
● User-specific text
Text that the user enters in the input fields provided during the course of the acceptance
test are included in the certificate without any changes being made to them.
Update table of contents
If, in the certificate, not all of the sections of the certificate template are included, in the table
of contents, then "Text mark not reference" is displayed for each text mark that is not
referenced.
This means that when opening the certificate for the first time, the table of contents must be
updated using a suitable editor.
Example: Microsoft Word:
1. Press the key combination <CTRL> + <A> (select entire content).
2. Then press the key <F9> (update table of contents).
