Necessity of a new acceptance test

A complete acceptance test is required for the first commissioning of the Safety Integrated
functionality on a machine.
If you carry out certain measures after the acceptance test, it may be necessary to carry out
a new (complete or partial) acceptance test.
These measures include the following for example:
● Safety-related functional expansions
● Transferring the commissioning data to additional series machines
● Hardware changes
● Software upgrades
● Changes within the scope of modular machine concepts
In order to define a partial acceptance test with lower test depth, it is first necessary to describe
the individual parts of the acceptance test and then define logical groups, which represent the
components of the acceptance test. The assignment of the safety-related machine data and
parameters to difference CRCs support this grouping (e.g. to support modular machine
concepts).

Non-safe states possible after a component has been replaced
Non-safe states are possible after a component has been replaced. If persons are in the
danger zone, accidents causing death or severe injury can occur.

the hardware has been changed after Safety commissioning:
● Replacing certain drive components after Safety Integrated has been commissioned.
