Installing the cylinder head

Do not reuse a filter, gasket, or O-ring,
always replace it with a new one.
1. Install new filters a and the OCVs a,
and then tighten the OCV bolts b to the
specified torque.
2. Install new gaskets c, the dowels d,
and the cylinder heads e, and then
tighten the cylinder head bolts f to the
specified torques in 2 stages and in the
order a, b, and so on.
3. Tighten the cylinder head bolts g and h
to the specified torques in 2 stages and
in the order i, j, and so on.

OCV bolt b: 7 N·m (0.7 kgf·m, 5.2 ft·lb)
Cylinder head bolt f a–h (M11):
Cylinder head bolt g and h i–k (M8):

TIP:

In the second stage, mark the M11 bolts and
cylinder heads with identification marks b,

tighten the M11 bolts 90° from the marks,
and then tighten another 90°.
