Sequential Mode

Starting a sequential-mode operation
The sequential modes are to change the cassette inserted in the tape
streamer without control from the host computer.
Each time the cassette is ejected from the tape streamer, the cassette in the
top bin of the DMS-B9 is automatically inserted in the tape streamer in
sequence.
These modes are activated according to setting of the SET UP switch when
the power is turned on or the door is closed.

Sequential mode: One-Time
Do not use
There are two sequential modes: Endless and One-Time. In Endless
operation, after using all the cassettes from top to bottom, the cassette in
the top bin is used again and the operation continues. In One-Time
operation, when all the cassettes to the bottom have been used, the
operation stops and the ERROR indicator lights.
Both Endless and One-Time modes are terminated when the door is
opened.
In either sequential mode, the special eject auto cleaning function and auto
cleaning function are available.
To start a sequential-mode operation, there must be no cassette in the tape
streamer, and cassettes must be placed in all the bins from the top to the
last tape, with no bins vacant in between. There may be bins vacant after
the last tape.
When cassettes are inserted in all of the bins from 1 to 9 with no vacant bin
in between, and no cassette is in the tape streamer, "START BIN:1?"
appears on the LCD panel. Designate the bin number from which you
wish the sequential-mode operation to start. Follow the steps below:
1
Press the UP or DOWN key to select the bin number from which to
start.
2
Press the SET key.
