The 'Call station interface (redundant)' PTO2009-A1 provides a redundant 'PACE-
Net' and 24 V connection from the Cerberus PACE system to the call stations
PT2001-A1 and PT2002-A1.
The PTO2009-A1 has two DC 24 V inputs ('Power In A', 'CN2' and 'Power In B',
'CN3') which are routed to a DC 24 V output ('Power Out' and 'CN5'). In case of a
fault of one input, it switches automatically to the other one. A DC 24 V fault is
reported via the relay contacts ('Fault Relay CN6').
Mounting
The PTO2009-A1 can be mounted with its DIN rail mount directly in a PT2002-A1
or PT2003-A1 housing. For other call stations, use an external installation box and
mount the PTO2009-A1 close to the call stations.
Installation
The PTO2009-A1 provides two screw terminal connectors ('Ethernet In A', 'CN1',
'Ethernet In B', 'CN3') to connect Ethernet cables with single wires to interface
them to CAT5 Ethernet RJ45 connectors ('Ethernet Out A', 'J1' and 'Ethernet Out B',
'J2'). The CAT5 Ethernet outputs are connected to the call station CAT5 Ethernet
inputs.
Connect the fault relay contacts to a logic control input of the call station.
