Auto Shut-Down (Optional)

WARNING: This function automatically stops the
engine. Pay extra attention to the work and work
environment when using this function.
When the auto shut-down function is ON (enabled), the
engine automatically stops after the preset time from the state
in which the following conditions are met: The parking brake
switch is turned ON, the forward/reverse lever (switch) is set in
neutral (N) position, and the brake pedal or accelerator pedal
is not depressed. (Refer to the descriptions in the next page for
the detail operating condition)
30 seconds before the engine stop, monitor (2) displays a
message that engine will be stopped and indicator (1) starts
flashing. Also the buzzer sounds. The buzzer sounds once at 30
seconds before, intermittently sounds from 15 seconds, and
then stops after 15 seconds. The auto shut-down is disabled
and the engine will not stop if any of the following conditions
are met: The parking brake switch is set in OFF position, the
forward/reverse lever (switch) is set in (F) or (R) position, or the
brake pedal or the accelerator pedal is depressed to release it.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the ON or OFF status of auto shut-
down indicator (1). If the indicator is ON, the auto shut-
down function will be activated.
