2 Prerequisites and Dependencies
When using the ExtendedCraneDCC p1228 is considered the "load float time", or
the time where the brake will remain open while keeping the motor shaft stationary.
Figure 2-6
If an infeed unit is being used in the system, it is necessary to change the fault
response of faults and alarms being generated by the ExtendedCraneDCC. If this
is not done, then every time there is a fault or alarm generated by the
ExtendedCraneDCC, the power to the infeed will shut down. To do this, navigate to
the infeed expert list, and go to parameters p2100 (Change fault response fault
number), and p2101 (Change fault response response). The fault responses
numbers in p2100 indices are respective to the fault responses in p2101 indices.
Beginning in index [0] of p2100, start typing the fault numbers generated by the
ExtendedCraneDCC. Then in p2101, beginning in index [0] change the fault
response to "[0] NONE". Do this for all eight faults.
