7.2 Parameterizing/configuring
Procedure:
1. Connect both speed monitors with the transfer cable
2. Connect both speed monitors to power supply
3. Select "Copy parameters" in the menu of the "Sending device".
4. Start the copy operation with "Send parameters"
5. The prompt "Receive parameters?" appears on the display of the "Receive device" As soon as
this is acknowledged with "OK" (right softkey), transfer begins.
6. When transfer has been completed, the basic screens appear again on both devices.
7. Disconnect the cable (remove transfer cable).

Can cause death, serious injury, or property damage.
Performing a function test of the system
To guarantee the safety of the system, a complete function test must be carried out and
successfully concluded after copying the parameters.
Copying the parameters to other devices
• E03 or older to E03 or older is possible.
• E03 or older to E04 is possible, provided the parameterization lock in the device with E04 is
deactivated.
• E04 to E04 is possible, provided that the parameterization lock in the receiving device with
E04 is deactivated. The parameterization lock in the sending device with E04 can be
activated.
E04 to E03 or older is not possible.
If copying is not possible, a corresponding message is displayed:
• "Receiving device not compatible": This message is displayed on the sending device if it
detects that the receiving device is incompatible.
• In case of system errors, a corresponding message is displayed.
