The descriptions of indications of the LED indicators are given in Table 3-1.

Description of Indication
Indicates that this module's hardware
is normal.
ON: The module is normal.
OFF: The module is defective or
power is OFF.
Indicates connection to the FL-net
network.
ON: Connected to the network
OFF: Disconnected from the network
ON: Under transmission
ON: Data is being received.
Indicates the 10BASE-T link test
condition.
ON: Accepted
OFF: Failed
Indicates the condition of parameter
setting.
ON: Improper
OFF: Proper
Indicates that the FL654 is accessing
connected I/O module(s).
ON: Accessing
OFF: Not accessing
Blinking: Updating of the overall
listener area of the local
station has stopped for more
than 500 ms.

Possible Cause in Details
The causes of LED OFF are as follows:
・ No power is supplied.
・ The node address is "00," "FF," or
duplicated with another node.
・ Software abnormality
・ Hardware abnormality
The causes of LED OFF are as follows:
・ Parameter(s) is incorrect or is not set.
・ Defective transmission line
・ LED lights when transmission is made
from the local node.
・ LED lights when the local node receives
frames from another node.
The cause of LED OFF is as follows:
・ Hub or 10BASE-T cable is defective.
The causes of LED lighting are as follows:
・ A parameter is not yet set.
・ Incorrect parameter format
・ The cyclic transmission sending area is
overlapped with that of another node.
The causes of extinguishment are as
follows:
・ No power is supplied.
・ Module hardware is defective.
・ FL654 is not connected to the FL-net line
or the RUN/HALT switch is in HALT.
