Chapter 5 Startup

5.1 Startup Procedure Flow

(1) For performing I/O module input/output based on saved information:

(2) For performing I/O module input/output in the current I/O module configuration

Begin
(i) Install the power, expansion, FL654, and I/O
modules in the base unit. When the expansion unit
is used, connect an expansion cable.
(ii) Turn ON the power (the FL654 automatically
recognizes the connected I/O modules).
(iii) Connect a PC to the TOOL connection port
and
check
I/O
module
HyperTerminal.
(iv) After checking I/O module connections, once
turn OFF the power and return the FL654 switch
settings to ordinary usage condition.
(v) Connect the communication cable.
(vi) Turn ON the power.
Start up

(i) Install the power, expansion, FL654,
and I/O modules in the base unit. When
the expansion unit is used, connect an
expansion cable.
(ii) Connect the communication cable.
(iii) Turn ON the power.
