6.
Turning Off the Server
Turn off the server by using the following procedure. If the power cord of the server is connected to a UPS, refer
to the documentation supplied with the UPS or the documentation for the application controlling the UPS.
1. Shut down the OS.
2. The server automatically turns off after the OS shuts down.
Confirm that POWER LED is OFF (DC OFF state).
3. Turn off peripheral devices.
4. AC power of server module is turned off only if it is removed from module enclosure.
Important If you removed a server module from module enclosure, wait at least 30 seconds
before insert it again into enclosure.
