Verifying the installed network components
To verify the installed network components, proceed as follows:
1 From the Start menu, select Settings, then Control Panel.
The Control Panel window appears.
2 Double-click the Network icon.
The Network dialog box appears.
3 Click the Configuration tab to verify the settings.
4 Make sure that the following items are displayed under The following network components are
installed.

TCP/IP -> Sony PCWA-C100 Wireless PC Card
❑
Client for Microsoft Networks
❑
File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks
❑
NetBEUI -> Sony PCWA-C100 Wireless PC Card
5 Make sure that Client for Microsoft Networks is displayed under the Primary Network Logon drop-
down menu.
If everything is displayed, proceed to the Verifying the computer name and workgroup
section.
If any of these components are missing, add each component individually.
