Problem
The monitor is NOT communicating with
the auxiliary device.

Cause
The monitor does not support the auxiliary
device.
The monitor's software version does not
support the AUX 2 connector on the
docking station.
The auxiliary cable is damaged.
The auxiliary device may need to be
configured to function with a docking
station.

Solution
Use a monitor that supports the auxiliary
device. See
"Compatible Auxiliary Devices"
on page 2-10.
To use the AUX 2 connector on the
docking station, the monitor must use Dash
3000/4000 software version 5.0 or later.

1. Disconnect the auxiliary cable from the
docking station.
2. Connect the auxiliary cable to the
monitor.
3. If the monitor cannot communicate with
the auxiliary device, replace the auxiliary
cable.

provided with the auxiliary device for
configuration recommendations.
