2.1 Installing Your TE30

Your TE30 offers multiple installation options. You can use any of them to implement quick
deployment.
For TE30 installation options and instructions, see the HUAWEI TE30 Videoconferencing
Endpoint Quick Start Guide provided with your TE30.

2.2 Connecting Cables

You need to connect cables to your TE30 before using it for conferencing.
Please refer to the HUAWEI TE30 Videoconferencing Endpoint Quick Start Guide to familiarize
yourself with the TE30 rear ports before connecting cables.

Video input: Use the built-in camera in your TE30 as the video input source.
Presentation input: Use a VGA cable to connect the TE30 VGA IN port to a computer VGA
out port.
Audio input: Use the built-in microphone.
(Optional) Microphone array audio input: Use the 10 m proprietary cable provided by a
VPM220 microphone array to connect the integrated cable HD-AI connector and the
VPM220.
(Optional) Computer audio input: Use a 3.5 mm audio cable to connect the TE30 LINE IN
port to a computer audio output port.
Video and audio output: Use the provided integrated cable to connect the TE30 MIC/TV/
LAN/POWER port to the monitor HDMI input port.
