Installing the flywheel magneto

1. Install:
• Woodruff key "1" (to the crankshaft)
• Flywheel magneto "2"
TIP:
Make sure to remove any grease from the ta-
pered portion of the crankshaft "a" and the fly-
wheel magneto "b".

2. Tighten:
• Flywheel magneto nut "1"

a. Tighten the flywheel magneto nut to the
specified torque.
Apply force in the direction of the arrow to
prevent the special service tool "2" from
slipping off easily.
