Installing the conventional gauge
(6Y5/6Y7) harness
1. Install:
• Gauge harness

a. Remove the cap "1".
b. Route the gauge harness "2" through the
bottom cowling. See "Bottom cowling (re-
mote control model)" (5-9).
c. Connect the gauge harness coupler "a".

Installing the rigging grommet
1. Install:
• Rigging grommet

a. Route each cable, harness, and hose
through the proper holes in the rigging
grommet. See "Rigging grommet descrip-
tion" (3-5).
b. Install the battery cable with the positive
battery cable "1" on top and align the white
tape "2" on the battery cable with the outer
end of the rigging grommet.
c. Install the rigging grommet "3" along with
the grommet holder "4", and then tighten
the grommet holder bolts "5" to the speci-
fied torque.
