I Installation procedure

• When uncovering the new polygon assembly, release the cover claws and exercise
care not to touch the polygon mirror surface.
• Press the polygon and its spacer in the direction of the arrow shown below, and then
screw them down.
• When installing the polygon, orient it properly. When it is viewed from above, the
narrower edge should face forward.
Accomplish installation by reversing the removal procedure.
I Check procedure
(1) Turn ON the high-voltage switch (S1) on the SCN08D board.
(2) Install all covers.
(3) Turn ON the machine.
Verify that the machine starts up normally.
(4) Check for image problems.
