■Changing the muting sensor output setting
The muting sensor output setting can be changed to NONC (Normally Open / Normally Closed)
to validate operation even when there is no input time difference.
<NONO [Normally Open / Normally Open (factory default setting)]>

■Exit-only muting function
When the exit-only muting function is used, a muting sensor is only installed on the danger zone
side. There is no need for installation on the safe zone side. The conditions required for the exit-
only muting function are described below.
<Installation conditions for exit-only muting>
● The detected object must move from the danger zone to the safe zone.
● One-way movement only.
● The detected object must pass through the sensing area within 4 seconds after muting sen-
sor 1 or 2 turns OFF.
<Start conditions for muting>
Same.
<Release conditions for muting>
The following release conditions change when exit-only muting is used.
● Blocking continues even after an elapse of 4 seconds after muting input A or B is OFF at ap-
prox. 20ms or more.
● When the device changes to the light receiving state.
