Erasing one or all tracks (Erase function)
@ Erasing all tracks in a disc
All tracks in a disc can be erased with a single operation. Note
that this also erases the disc name.
1. During stop, press the EDIT/NO button to dis-
play the editing menu
2. Turn the jog dial on the main unit or press the
skip (<4 or >) button on the remote control unit
so that "All Erase" is displayed.
3. Push the jog dial .
{or the ENTER button on the remote contro! unit).
@ The confirmation display for all-track erasure appears.

To abort the operation, press the stop (m™) or EDIT/NO but-
ton.
4. Push the jog dial .
(or the ENTER button on the remote control unit).
"Blank Disc" appears on the main unit display to indicate
that the contents of the disc have been erased completely.
@ Erasing a section of track
An arbitrarily specified section within a track (the
section between points A and B in the following
illustration) can be erased.

@ Borrado de todas las pistas de un disco
Todas las pistas de un disco pueden ser borradas con una
sencilla operacion. Tenga en cuenta que esto borrara también
el nombre del disco.
1. Durante la parada, pulse el botén EDIT/NO para
visualizar el menu de edicién.
2. Gire el mando de control de la unidad principal
o pulse el boton de salto (<4 0 >») del mando
a distancia para que se visualice "All Erase".
3. Pulse el mando de control .
{o el bot6n ENTER del mando a distancia).
@ Aparece la visualizacién de confirmacién para borrar
todas las pistas
Para anular la operacion, pulse el boton de parada (mt) 0 EDIT/
NO.
4, Pulse el mando de control .
{o ef botén ENTER del mando a distancia).
"Blank Disc" aparece en el visualizador de la unidad princi-
pal para indicar que el contenido del disco ha sido borrado
completamente.
@ Borrado de una seccion de una pista
Se puede borrar una seccion especificada arbitrariamente (la
seccidn entre los puntos A y B en el diagrama mostrado a
continuacién).
