Following is a brief discussion of Read Ports 0 through 2. Read Port 0 is used by the 3 1/2-inch Winchester
disc drives analog-to-digital converter and no further discussion will be given on this port.
Figure 5-1 and
the following text explains the meaning of data bits DO through D7 for Read Ports 1 and 2.
