Item Description
AppleTalk Enabled Use this check box to turn on the
AppleTalk protocol stack.
Last Error Occurred This text box displays the last error
message that occurred in the AppleTalk
stack.
AppleTalk Printer Use this text box for naming the printer for
Name Macintosh users. They will be able to
identify the printer with this name.
Timer Value for Use this spinner for setting the amount of
Aging A-Router seconds that must pass when the router
Entry entry in the RTMP router table will die.
Current Zone Use this drop-down list to select which
AppleTalk zone the printer is in.
Wait Time Before Use this spinner for setting the amount of
Retransmitting a time that must pass before the NIC
Tickle Packet verifies the connection with a Macintosh
computer.

SNMP Tab

Item Description
Enable Use this check box to turn on the SNMP
Authentication Traps agent.
IP Address Use these text boxes to enter the address
of the printer containing MIB variables that
you want to trap. This address must be
associated with a specific [trap]
community name.
Community Name Use this text box to identify a specific trap
(for address pairs) community name. One or more printers
can be associated with this name.
Address Pair Use to move between IP address and
[trap] Community Name pairs.
Community Name Use to move between trap community
(for r/w access) names.
Read Access Controls MIB reading privileges from a
specific community.
Write Access Controls MIB writing privileges to a
specific community.
