Executing rebuilding manually
19. Replace the Hard Disk Drive and turn on the server.
20. Run the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility.
21. Select Rebuild from the TOP menu.
The Rebuild - PHYSICAL DRIVES SELECTION MENU screen appears.
22. Move the cursor to a Hard Disk Drive indicated by FAIL to be rebuilt, and then press the space key to
select it.
The character of the selected drive turns pink.
23. Press the <F10> key to execute rebuilding.
24. When the confirmation message appears, select Yes.
Rebuilding of the selected drive starts.
Rebuilding completes when the Completed progress bar on the REBUILDING screen reaches 100%.
25. Press the <Esc> key to return to the TOP menu screen, and then exit the LSI Software RAID
Configuration Utility.
