2.3 Adjustment/operational checkout

2.3.1 Excitation adjustment

With respect to the
password protection,
refer to "2.1 setting of
service personnel
maintenance mode".
- Adjust the drive conditions of nozzles.
- This adjustment is performed in a state other than the IJ printer "ready" state.
- Be sure to perform this adjustment in the case of replacing the board (EZJ93, 106, 124),
the nozzle (including the print head) or changing the ink type.
In addition, when this adjustment is performed, be sure to carry out "2.3.4 Auto
phase gain adjustment."
1 Press adjustment/operational checkout at the second page of the
service maintenance screen.
When the previous menu and the next menu are not displayed in the
maintenance menu, set to the service personnel maintenance mode by the
password protection.
2 Press Excitation adjustment. When the screen is switched, press
Automatic adjustment.
The excitation voltage is automatically adjusted inside the IJ printer.
During the automatic adjustment, the processing state is displayed to be
"In progress". The excitation voltage is gradually increased, and the adjustment is
completed at 360 V plus or minus 20 Vp-p and the processing state is cleared.
The excitation adjustment is completed within 10 minutes.
