To restore a defective card or for writing a minimal SINUMERIK 828D system, proceed as
follows:
Operating sequence
1. Select "Tools" > "Write SINUMERIK 828D boot system" in the menu. (This menu item
appears only if a SINUMERIK 828D toolbox has been installed on your PC.)
2. If more than one SINUMERIK 828D toolbox has been installed on your PC, a compulsory
selection dialog opens prompting you to select the appropriate version.

3. Once you have selected the toolbox version, or if you have only installed one SINUMERIK
828D toolbox, the dialog for writing the system card opens.
