5. Enter an OEM PIN. The OEM PIN must contain at least 8 characters, including at least one
uppercase letter, at least one lowercase letter, at least one number and at least one special
character. The OEM PIN must match the pin specified for activating the CNC lock function.
6. Select a new lock date. The lock date specifies when the lock takes effect. The control
remains functional provided the date is not yet reached, after which the control is locked.
After the lock, you must either extend the CNC lock function or deactivate the lock
(Page 144).
7. Click "Create lockset file" to create an encrypted "lockset.clc" lockset file. The content of
the comment field is not stored in the lockset file.
8. Import the lockset file into the control (Page 146). This does not require any special access
level.
Note
As the lockset file is encrypted, the file cannot be changed subsequently.
9. Send the newly generated lockset file to the customer. The customer can now
independently import the lockset file into the control (Page 146). This does not require any
special access level. After the successful activation, the new lock date is compared with
the internal date calculation of the CNC lock function.
