828D operating sequence:
1. Copy the lockset file to a USB stick or to the CompactFlash card of the control.
2. Select the "Commissioning" operating area. Press the menu forward key.
3. Press the "Licenses" softkey. The "Licensing" window opens.
4. Press the "Read in license key" softkey.
5. Click "OK" to open the appropriate storage location (e.g. USB).
The associated lockset file is detected and read-in automatically. This does not require any
special access level.
Note
Exporting the commissioning archive
We recommend that a complete commissioning archive is exported after the successful
commissioning of the machine and the activation of the CNC lock function! This ensures data
consistency for the CNC lock function.
If necessary, this commissioning archive can be used to recommission the control without
requiring a service call to reactivate the CNC lock function.
808D operating sequence:
1. Select the shortcut <ALT+N> at remote control. Press the arrow pointing to the right and
select the "Version" softkey. Then select the "License key" softkey.
2. Enter the license key.
3. Restart the control (cold restart).
4. Store the lockset file in at least one of the following directories:
– /oem/sinumerik/hmi/files
– /user/sinumerik/hmi/files
5. Select the shortcut <ALT+N> at remote control. Press the arrow pointing to the right and
select the "Version" softkey. Then select the "License key" softkey and select "Import file".
