Network daughter card riser

The Network Daughter Card (NDC) riser is a half-length, full-height card installed in a dedicated PCIe slot (IO_RISER1) on the system
board. The NDC riser is also known as I/O riser 1.

Removing the NDC riser

Prerequisites

Follow the safety guidelines listed in

Follow the procedure listed in

Disconnect the cables connected to the Network Daughter Card (NDC) riser.
Steps
1
Slide the riser retention bracket to unlock the NDC riser.

Hold the NDC riser by its edges, and pull the NDC riser until the card edge connector disengages from the connector on the system
board.
3
Lift the NDC riser from the system.
