Connect the other end to the DB9 socket of the power backplane.
4.8.2 Installing Optical Fiber
When BTS3606 cabinets are combined, you can connect optical fibers between the
basic cabinet and extension cabinet as shown in Figure 4-22.

To install an optical fiber, proceed as follows:
1)
Cut an optical fiber with the required length according to the cabling mode as
shown in Figure 4-22 and note that a proper margin must be reserved.
2)
Prepare the connectors of the optical fiber.
3)
Connect one end of the optical fiber to LINK0 (optical interface 0) of the CCPM in
slot 1 in the basic cabinet.
4)
Lead the optical fiber along the right side of the basic cabinet to the optical fiber
port on the top of the extension cabinet.
5)
Lead out the optical fiber from the basic cabinet and then lead it through the
optical fiber port of the extension cabinet.
6)
Connect the other end of the optical fiber to LINK (an optical interface) of the
LECM in slot 0.
7)
Repeat the above steps to complete the connection of the following cables:
