■Performing the test using parameter settings
Line test can be performed using parameter settings in addition to CC-Link diagnostics.
This section describes the procedure for performing using parameter settings.
1.
Check that the RUN/STOP/RESET switch of the CPU module is set to STOP.
2.
Set "Required Settings" of the master/local module as follows using the engineering tool.

Write the module parameters to the CPU module.

Power off and on or reset the CPU module to start the line test.
5.
Check the test result with the dot matrix LED of the master/local module.

Using the engineering tool, change the following setting to the station number of the slave station where an error has
occurred. Specify the start station number when the number of occupied stations is two or more.

Write the module parameters to the CPU module.
8.
Power off and on or reset the CPU module to start the line test.
9.
Check the test result with the dot matrix LED of the master/local module.

• To perform a line test (step 7) for the standby master station, specify the station number of standby master
station set in "Network Configuration Settings" under "Basic Settings".
• When the data link startup by standby master station is executed, line test using parameter setting cannot
be performed. Perform the line test using the engineering tool.

Set the same as while system is running.
Description
Test results are stored in 'Line test 1 result' (SW00B4 to SW00B7).
The line test is performed for all the 64 stations regardless of whether it is connected or not. Ignore
test results for the slave stations not connected and stations whose transmission speed is set to
auto-tracking.
For standby master station, the test result is stored only in 'Standby master station test result'
(SB00B4).
If the test has completed successfully, operations of step 6 to 9 are not required.
Test results are stored in 'Line test 2 result' (SW00B8).
If the test has ended abnormally, perform the line test for the slave station where an error has
occurred by following the step 6 to 9.
