Availability of option
This option is available for the following S120 cabinet modules:
● Line Connection Modules
Description
The option includes the installation of surge arresters and upstream fuses for each phase.
The signaling contacts of the monitoring of the surge arresters and the fuses are connected
in series and connected to a customer interface.
For this option, the connection clips to the interference suppression capacitor are removed
from the respective Line Modules and included in the accessory kit.
Installation of the connection clip to the interference suppression capacitor for operation in a TN
system
When operating the devices in a TN system, the connection clip to the interference
suppression capacitor removed in the factory, must again be installed in the following
Cabinet Modules:
● Basic Line Modules
● Smart Line Modules
● Active Line Modules (connection clip in the Active Interface Module)
The connection links are included in the accessories pack for the cabinets.
For the positions of the connection links in the respective Cabinet Modules, see the chapter
"Connection of the Cabinet Modules to non-grounded systems (IT systems) ".
