The following section takes some commonly used features and shows you what is
required to program the item. The DS1000/2000 Software Manual covers all the
features available in the DS1000/2000 system.
Central Office Calls, Answering
The system allows trunk calls to ring and be answered at any combination of sys-
tem extensions. The system provides flexible routing of incoming CO (trunk)
calls to meet the exact site requirements.
When multiple calls ring an extension simultaneously, the system services the
ringing calls in the following order:
1. Line key (from lowest to highest)
2. Fixed Loop Key (from lowest to highest)
3. Switched Loop Key (from lowest to highest)
4. ICM Key
Refer to Overflow for Key Ring Calls under the Key Ring feature for overflow
options.
Conditions
The system provides analog trunk CO service via ATRU PCBs. ATRU PCBs
can connect to either loop start or ground start trunks (depending on circuit
type programming).
Per FCC regulations, do not set 1001-Trunk Transmit Gain higher than 0 dB.
