DS1000/2000 Correspondence Course
Caution:
Do not plug in the CPU PCB or power supply hot (i.e., with the
system power applied).
You can plug in ASTU and ATRU PCBs hot as required.
You can plug in DSTU PCBs hot provided you first disconnect the
station cabling from the PCB.
Install the required Power
Supply in the PSU slot.
The power supply provides the
DC power source required to
operate the system:
1. With the system power off,
slide the power supply into
the CN101 slot as shown at
right.
2. Using a long-shaft phillips
head screwdriver, tighten
the two screws that secure
the power supply.
8-slot cabinets which
require additional
power supplies due to the system configuration should use slots
CN102 and CN103 as well.
