Filling procedure

● DO NOT turn on any heat source connected to the storage tank until filling it.
● Ensure that all installation requirements, electrical and safety, have been met.
● Check all plumbing and electrical connections are properly connected.
● Make sure that unused connections are closed with sealing plugs.
● Open the bleed valve on the set which is connected to the kettle and start filling
slowly.
● Let the unit fill, checking the bleeding air from the open tap; let out of the water to
allow the flushing of the pipes.
● Close the bleed valve.
● Open the taps remaining to eliminate the residual air in the system.
● Close all the taps and check for water leaks in the system.
● Fill any circuits affecting internal heat exchangers to accumulation.
● Test manually the pressure regulating valve and the safety valves on each hydrau-
lic circuit.

Emptying procedure

● Check that the heat source connected to the boiler and any loose electrical con-
nections are off.
● Disconnect the water supply to the accumulation.
● Open a bleed valve on the set connected to the boiler to allow the entry of air into
the system.
● Open the discharge of the system, paying attention to the high temperature of the
exhaust as it could cause damage to property or persons.

Maintenance procedure

● Check periodically (at least once a year) the smooth operation of the safety valve.
● In accumulations of DHW always install a passive cathodic protection (magnesium
anode) or active (impressed current anode) and check periodically, at least twice
a year, wear a sacrificial magnesium anode or the presence of power supply on
the anode impressed current; an anode of magnesium consumed more than 60%
should be replaced.
● Inspect all water connections for leakage every year.
● Dismantle the flange with the DHW heater and clean the bottom tank internally
every other year if the water quality is poor.
● Test safety thermostat and check electrical connections for DHW heater every year.
● Leak search refrigerant connections at the top of the tank for heat pump every
year.
● Leak search refrigerant hose from double coil every year.
● Inspect the coil and clean it if necessary every other year.
● Test run the heat pump and check sensor info parameters.
● Check outdoor unit procedures referenced to the service manual for outdoor unit.
