÷ Connect the CD player to "OPTICAL 1".
÷ Select the CD input on the AV control center or receiver.
÷ Open the write protect tab of the Mini Disc to make it recordable.
÷ Load the Mini Disc.

Synchro recording with CD player

By connecting a KENWOOD CD player equipped with a system control jack to this unit via a system control cord and starting
recording with the following procedure, the recording (MD) and playback (CD) can be started simultaneously so that there is
no sound interruption.

Select the CD input on the AV CONTROL CEN-
TER or receiver.

Put the CD player in pause mode.

Select the desired CD track with the 4 or

Put the MD recorder in record-pause mode.
RC operation

Start playback of the CD player.
GRC operation
ENTER
÷ When the ¶ key is pressed, the recording automatically is paused.
÷ Press the 7 key to stop recording in the middle.
