® Recording will start when the [>{JJ key is
pressed.
®@ When recording from a CD or other medium,
start playback operation on the connected
equipment after pressing the [>[[] key.
Pausing the Recording
@ The recording operation will be paused when
the [>[]1 key is pressed while recording is
in progress.
@To resume recording, press the [>] key
again.
® Each time a recording is paused, the track
numbers will increase by one.

@ Press the Hl (OFF) key while recording is in
progress.
® Press the Ii (OFF) key while Stop status is
engaged.
Track number, recording location, and
other data are referred to as TOC data.
(-~(8Z] ) When recording has been
completed
and the power has been
turned
off,
the
TOC
data
will
automatically be recorded before the
power is turned off.
this may result in a faulty recording.
@teS) Recording is not possible at the following times:
@ when you are trying to record on a Playback Only MiniDisc (commercially available
music software, etc.);
@ when the MiniDisc's erase protector is in the Open position. >
