Checking Disc's Remaining Time
You can check how much recording time is remaining on a disc while cording:
is in progress. (Display Changeover function)
Press the DISPLAY key during Record
@ The time remaining on the disc is displayed.
Standby status or while recording is in
progress.
Time remaining for recording
@ Pressing the DISPLAY key again will
restore the original status.

Recording in Monaural Extended Mode
In Monaural Extended mode the recording time is about twice as ona as that ofa a
stereo recording..
Press the key during Record Standby
status. (Changeover cannot be made

Extended mode and Stereo mode each time
the key is pressed.
@ When recording in Monaural Extended
mode has been completed, Stereo mode
will be restored automatically.
@ A disc that has been recorded in Monaural
Extended mode can be played back at
double speed. +
@ In the case of stereo input, the left and right audio will be mixed and recorded.
At this
time, however, you can listen to the audio in stereo through headphones while you are_
recording.
