Use in hazardous areas

The following warnings apply to operating a device with Ex approval in hazardous areas.
Explosion Hazard
Do not disconnect while circuit is live unless area is known to be non-hazardous.
Substitution of components may impair suitability for Class I, Division 2 or Zone 2.
Risque d'Explosion
Ne pas déconnecter pendant que le circuit est sous tension, sauf si la zone est non-
dangereuse. Le remplacement de composants peut compromettre leur capacité à satisfaire
à la Classe I, Division 2 ou Zone 2.
Do not plug or pull connectors in potentially explosive atmospheres
When you plug or pull the plug-in connector during operation, there is a risk of a flashover.
A flashover can cause an explosion in a hazardous area, resulting in death or severe
injuries.
Plugging or pulling of plug-in connectors, for example, of a 24 V DC power supply
connector or even of a memory card, is prohibited in a hazardous area.
Do not plug or pull a connector or a memory card until one of the two following
requirements is met: The area is no longer hazardous or the device and its plug-in
connections are de-energized.
To shut down the device, close all open apps and the running project, and turn off the
power to the device.
Also observe the enclosed documentation on using in potentially explosive areas and the
information on the Ex approval in section "Labels, certificates and approvals (Page 139)".
