If the indicator blinks once every 2s (0.5 Hz), the system is normal.
If the indicator blinks twice every 1s (2 Hz), the system is in alarm mode.
When the indicator is on, it indicates that the link is connected.
If the indicator is blinking, data is being transmitted.
When the indicator is off, it indicates that the link is disconnected.
