7.4 Operation in the Event of FL-net Failure

(1) Operation in the event of disconnection from network
If the FL654A is disconnected from the FL-net, it holds or clears outputs to the output modules.
Selection of hold or clear is set using the operation setting switch.
(2) Operation in the event of stop receiving data
If an update of the overall listener area of the local station is stopped for more than 500 ms, the
FL654A holds or clears outputs to the output modules. Selection of hold or clear is set using the
operation setting switch.
Such a condition occurs if the talker source station is disconnected from the system or if the
transmission line becomes defective, such as disconnection.
If this condition occurs, the I/O LED blinks regardless of whether outputs to the output modules
have been held or cleared.
If multiple stations are the talker sources of the listener area, this function is not activated unless
data receptions from all the relevant stations are stopped.
(3) Operation in the event of module down
If a module goes down, the FL654A controls outputs to the output modules in the same way as
disconnection from the network.
