data analysis. Similarly, the 7KN Powercenter 3000 makes it possible to send warnings via
email. It also enables connection to other cloud systems via MQTT for fully comprehensive
and long-term data availability, even outside the local network. You will find more

Other types of devices can be connected and visualized via a 7KN Powercenter 3000. For
example SENTRON PAC measuring instruments, other Modbus TCP devices or open and
compact circuit breakers (3WA and 3VA). Up to 32 devices of the low-voltage power
distribution board can be connected with a 7KN Powercenter 3000 device. In doing so, the
7KN Powercenter 1000 data transceiver (including its up to 24 devices) count as 1 device.
The SENTRON circuit protection devices with metering and communication function are
included in the local Ethernet network via Ethernet switches or router. This is where the other
Modbus TCP-capable applications are to be connected in order to visualize the data. The data
can be accessed from any location via the 7KN Powercenter 3000 and the cloud applications.
Alternatively to cloud solutions, a secure VPN connection via the router provides access to the
data in the local network from any location.
Communication via Modbus TCP also enables the setting up of own applications. For example
via a LOGO! 8.3 or suitable systems. The information from the Chapter Modbus TCP
Connection (Page 60) must be used for this purpose.
