Operation via External Signals
■ Individual Irradiation
Ready Conditions
(1) Make sure that the system is configured to irradiate the selected model.
When the system is not configured for irradiation:
None of LEDs 1 to 4 have a pattern selected (all are pattern 0).
Also, if the time for step 1 is 0 seconds for each of the patterns selected for LEDs 1 to 4.
(2) Must be on the Auto screen (initial screen upon power up or Auto selected from the menu).
(3) At least 1 enabled LED for which models have been selected (patterns 1 to 10 selected in
Model Setup) is connected.
(4) The LED to use for irradiation is not busy (Busy signal is off).
Above, "enabled" is considered to be the state where the Ready signal is on.
Start Irradiation
When the Ready signal is on, setting the START button on the main unit to "on" beings batch
irradiation of all enabled LEDs. Additionally, the following external signals initiate irradiation
individually.
(1) Pulse Start Mode:
When the external Start signals (1, 2, 3, 4) begin (at least 0.3 s), the selected LEDs begin
irradiation.
(2) Status Start Mode:
When the external Start signals (1, 2, 3, 4) change from "off" to "on," the selected LEDs begin
irradiation. After irradiation completes, the signal remains on.
Emergency Stop (Alarm), Interrupt
To perform an emergency stop, set the external Emergency Stop signal to "off" (Open). An emergency
stop will also be performed if the following external-signal conditions are met.
(1) Pulse Start Mode:
-During irradiation, turning the external Start signal of the irradiating LED on again will cause an
emergency stop (Alarm).
-During irradiation, turning the external Stop signal of the irradiating LED on will cause an
emergency stop (Alarm).
-During irradiation, setting the START button on the main unit to "on" will cause an emergency
stop (Alarm).
(2) Status Start Mode:
-During irradiation, setting the external Start signal of the irradiating LED to "off" will interrupt
irradiation.
