Executing the reset command

A reset command must be executed for each channel of a communication module or for
each reading point of an RF600 reader after the variables have been created and before
the actual work with the Ident instructions. To execute a reset command, you can use
the respective reset instructions or the "Ident_Profile" instruction with a "Write-Config"
command. The following table shows the reset instructions compatible with the
respective device families:

Procedure
Depending on whether you execute the reset command with a "Reset_*" instruction or
the "Ident_Profile" instruction, the procedure differs. Both options are described below.
Proceed as follows to create and execute the "Reset_*" instruction:
1. Insert a reset instruction from the "Controller Organizer" into your application program.
2. Create an instance variable.
3. Connect the "HW_CONNECT" parameter with the correct "HW_CONNECT" variable
from the configuration variable.
4. Connect the "MSG_READ" parameter with the created message variable for receiving.

5. Connect the parameter "MSG_WRITE" to the created message variable for sending.

6. Select the relevant input word of the reader/CM for the "STATUS_WORD" parameter.
