3.1
Vibrations/Compressor Noises
Cause:
In a newly installed appliance, the compressor may have shifted from its
mounting during shipping.
Remedy:
1. Check the position of the compressor.
2. Thoroughly check the copper tubing. Reposition if necessary.
2. Check all factory solder joints and any other components connected to
the sealed system.
Note:
Always wear safety glasses when working with sealed-system components.
3.2
High Humidity in SmartFresh Drawers When Dry Food is Stored
Cause:
Moist and dry food items are stored in the same compartment. When moist
food is stored with dry food, a high humidity level is automatically set.
Remedy:
Store dry food separately from moist food; see the operating manual.
3.3
Food Has Frozen in SmartFresh Drawers
Cause:
Food is lying in front of the air channel. Cold air flows out of the air channel
and directly onto the food.
Remedy:
Do not store food directly in front of the air channel. Advise the customer
about this.
Cause:
Air flap is defective.
Remedy:
Test the air flap in service mode; see Table 030-20.
Cause:
SmartFresh air NTC is defective.
Remedy:
Read the temperature of this NTC using the Miele diagnostic support tool (MDU).
