5 Common Faults and Troubleshooting Measures
Solution

Turn on the upstream and downstream switches

properly.
1. Check whether the ATS handle is inserted into the
ATS and whether the control mode switching
lever on the ATS is in the Manual position. If not,
press the AUTO button on the ATS controller so
that the AUTO indicator becomes steady green.
2. If the AUTO indicator is not steady green after
you press the AUTO button, check whether the
spring in the opening for the handle on the ATS is
stuck. If not, power off the equipment, remove
the ATS cover, and check whether cables are
connected properly and whether the position
switch is normal. Replace the position switch if it
is abnormal.
1. Check whether the indicators and display of the
ATS controller are normal.
2. Check whether the communications cable
between the ATS and the ECC is properly
connected, whether the wire sequence is correct,
and whether the cable is damaged. Rectify any
fault.
3. If all the preceding items are normal, power on
the equipment again and check whether the
alarm is cleared.
4. If the alarm persists, the ATS controller is faulty.
Replace the 8D controller by following
