5 Common Faults and Troubleshooting Measures
Solution
● The power terminal of the internal fan is loose:
Measure: Check the power cable to the internal
fan and reconnect the cable.
● The internal fan is faulty:
Measure: Replace the internal fan. To replace an
internal fan, perform the following steps:
1) Remove the interconnection terminal of the
internal fan. 2) Remove the indoor fan support.
3) Remove the screws that secure the internal fan
and remove the fan. 4) Replace the internal fan.
5) Install the new internal fan in a reverse order
of steps 3 to 1.
● The power terminal of the external fan is loose:
Measure: Check the power cable to the external
fan and reconnect the cable.
● The external fan is faulty (determined according
to high system voltage).
Measure: Replace the external fan with a new
one as follows:
1) Remove the screws that secure the electric
wiring box of the external fan. 2) Remove the
bolts that secure the external fan and remove the
fan. 3) Replace the external fan. 4) Install the
external fan in a reverse order of steps 3 to 1.
Replace the compressor with a new one as follows:
1) Remove the left outdoor cover. 2) Remove the
compressor cables, suction pressure sensor, and
temperature sensor. 3) Reclaim the refrigerant. 4)
Tear off the thermal insulation pipe at the welding
point and wrap the two ends of the welding point
with wet cloth. 5) Weld off the connecting pipe. 6)
Loosen the compressor nuts, remove the compressor,
weld off other welding joints, and replace the
compressor. 7) Install the new compressor in a
reverse order of steps 6 to 1. (After the installation,
vacuumize the pipeline, preserve the pressure to
verify the air tightness, and then fill refrigerant.)
