4. If the oil level is low, remove the fill cap (Figure
10) and add oil until it is between the full and
add marks. Do not overfill.
5. Install the oil fill cap and dipstick.
6. Close the engine cover and secure it with the
latches.

5.7 L (6 quarts)
Servicing the Engine Oil and Filter
Service Interval: Every 250 hours
Change the oil and filter every 250 hours.
1. Remove the drain plug
flow into a drain pan. When all the oil is drained,
install the drain plug.
