Initial commissioning

The "Initial commissioning" section provides an overview of the activities to be performed
during initial commissioning. The following persons may perform these activities:
• Service technicians from Siemens
• Persons trained and authorized by Siemens
Optical check
Take photos of the installation for the commission report. It is recommended to take pictures
of the front and side view of each installed device (charging stations, dispensers, mast hoods,
mast pantographs).
Installation check
Switching off the circuit breaker
Before proceeding with the checklist, ensure that the circuit breaker of the control panel (fan
grid) is switched OFF.
Switch on the main switch of the connected SICHARGE UC charging station. To do so, observe
the five safety rules (Page 13).
The following tools and measuring devices are required to check the installation:
• Torque wrench with appropriate attachments
• Multimeter
• Torque measurements
– Check that anchor bolts are correctly installed on the dispenser.
Software verification
The service technician verifies the versions and performs an update of the following
components, if necessary:
• Siemens controller version
• HMI version
• EVSE charging parameters (voltage, current, and power limit)
• EVACharge SE board
• OCPP version
