Steps
1. Disconnect the data and power cables from the connectors on the hard-drive.
2. Press the tabs on the hard-drive carrier and lift the hard-drive carrier to remove the hard-drive assembly from the chassis.
NOTE: Note the orientation of the hard drive so that you can replace it correctly.
3. Pry the hard-drive carrier to release the hard drive from the mounting points on the hard-drive carrier.
4. Lift the 2.5-inch hard drive off the hard-drive carrier.
Removing the secondary 2.5-inch hard drive
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the side cover.
