22.6 Deleting Extension Adapter
Use the following procedures to delete Extension Adapter on the system.

NOTES:
●
If energy calculation is activated, avoid performing these procedures from 5 minutes before until 5
minutes after each hour (that is, from XX:55 to XX:05).
●
Avoid performing these works also from 00:00 to 02:00 if calculation interval is set as 24 hours.
If calculation interval is set as 1 hour, result for the hour while following those steps will not be calculated.
The result for the specific 1 hour will be combined with the result of the following hour.
Ensure USB flash memory or SD card is correctly inserted for saving data and data backup.

If Remote Access software is in use, close the software before changing settings.
(1) Closing calculation tentatively

Manual for Energy Calculation Software.
(2) Deactivating Energy Calculation Software
Refer to steps (3)-1 to (3)-3 in "7.7 Preparation for Actual Use" in the Installation Manual for Energy
Calculation Software to deactivate Energy Calculation Software.
(3) Configuration data backup
Refer to "19. Backup/Activate" (page 82) to save data in USB flash memory or SD card.
(4) Deleting Extension Adapter
Refer to "(3) Postpone/delete network information" in "9.3 Register Network" (page 25) to unregister the
Extension Adapter to delete.
(5) Restarting Central Station EX
Refer to "21.1 Restart Now" (page 84) to restart Central Station EX.
(6) Verifying settings of monitoring and controlling
Refer to "(1) Monitoring and Controlling" in "9.6 Test Run" (pages 47-49) to verify correct operation.
(7) Setting Energy Calculation Software
If Energy Calculation Software is in use, refer to "(12) Setting Energy Calculation Software" in "8.1
Adding, Editing, or Deleting Units" in the Installation Manual for Energy Calculation Software to set and
verify the unit that has been added or edited.
(8) Activating Energy Calculation Software
If Energy Calculation Software is in use, refer to "6.9 Verifying Registration and Activating Calculation"
in the Installation Manual for Energy Calculation Software to resume energy calculation.
